What a beautiful morning with Jesus. 
So much perspective he's given me. I was looking back in some old notes from last fall--- and reading 1Thessalonians-- so many things spoke to me. 
I've experienced a time of growth in a way the last few months, or a time to grow from we shall say --as long as I Let God take over, isn't that always it? Putting him back on the throne ��������instead of me?
I always write everything down, thoughts, questions, it's how my brain processes, are you that way? 
I think it's not as common, my scattered notes to no end typically leave people smiling in confusion... But I always draw the arrows and word pictures that work in my own mind and it helps my memory and thoughts process. Even with Math I remember creating my own word problems for comprehension.

It's crazy how you can quote things in your mind like "seek approval from God not Man" as life is rushing by, but until the Time is quiet and the Holy Spirit's peace and presence is felt, it doesn't register in my heart and change me.
This selfie is a moment not of narcacism but of freedom, in his peace, presence and life he gives me. Owning my imperfections and knowing my inside has to be beautiful and from him so that my outside can show Joy instead of hurt, anxiety , fear or confusion.

I am excited about this week, excited to renew my mind and body. It's time������

I just want to encourage all of you out there that my have an injury, chronic illness, migraines, or anything that challenges you. 

I truly understand it makes it hard to be real, be out there... Most people don't know but a few of my closer friends but this past year I have realized I have endometriosis. This is something that comes on and you never know when... for example last Thursday in the middle of the night. The pain is so great you can't sit, stand or walk... and that is even on heavy painkillers.... you honestly feel like someone is stabbing you with a knife. Continuously, without fail..... so how does this make me feel as someone who loves to workout, eat healthy and is truly enjoying helping others do the same???

Emotionally it can be hard. You feel like a bad example, worthless to your family.. and most of all you feel like you can't really talk about it because you don't want to be "that" person... no one wants to hear about it right? 

Those are LIES... your VALUE is just as much. So here is the thing....whatever you may be struggling with..... there is usually a time of good... when it goes away and you feel free. In THOSE moments you can be yourself.. in THOSE moments you feel such joy to just feel pain free, normal... What I want to encourage you to do is think of your health as a wave in the ocean, much like life. With ups and downs. Yes.. you may have more to overcome then a person who needs to make a decision and do it, sometimes you're simply not capable.. and I UNDERSTAND that! However... IF you don't give up... continue the fight, to make the MOST out of each and every day. Those weeks you feel good.... THEY will bring PROGRESS, and the weeks you don't.. yes. You may stay the same, or have some set backs. But without giving up the waves of up and down will eventually find you meeting your goal. If your goal is losing weight, 5 pounds one week and staying the same the next is STILL 5 pounds! 

EVERY bit of exercise you can do to the best of your ability one week benefits you. This past week I had my awful moments.. and I've had the moments where the medicine was working enough, enough to workout. It was motivating in a way because I knew if I waited too long the opportunity may not be there later.. so yes, I've done it Sat, Mon, Wed... but that is 3x more than many people do in a week! 

I know it's easy to just want to feel normal, pain free and able like so many others. I sometimes feel so small because my will is there and I AM DRIVEN, I am told I am a GREAT COACH!  This is hard for me to say, I don't want to sound arrogant but it's for a purpose... it's to say that these lies we believe are negative and we need to push them away and understand we have a story, a story someone needs to hear!  It doesn't matter if we are not perfect, or our progress takes time.  Who is inspired by perfection?  Who's live is REALLY like that?  What matters is you don't throw in the towel...you continue to look up, even through the struggles and do the best you can.

Don't compare....Don't feel less than and don't give in to your circumstances. Try to make the most of the moments you have that can be REALLY GOOD. Remember 80% of health is what you eat. As time passes you are STILL growing as a person and living the healthiest version of YOU!

Listening can be the hard part right? 

I often find I take the first day to talk at God and then take several days to listen to his response. Usually each day getting a little more of me out and a little more of him in. (Only he can take the stubbornness out of me :) ☺️ 

One of the most life-changing things I remember from a message that it's okay to feel the emotion of anger, frustration, hurts--it's what you do with that that matters! 

How do you process it ---what do you listen for, what are you willing to hear ? what you want? What God wants? Take time to process your emotions and listen for God's response, he will take out all the junk and bring a list of reality; it's invaluable!

INSECURITY...we all feel it from time to time. Don't let it kill your confidence in being who God made you to be! Readjust your thinking to what matters. Surround yourself with people who truly want the best for you.... yes that means them even being honest with you when helping you through something. 

But guard your heart from just anyone......I can be such an open book-- I have to remember some people can't wait to use anything you give them to hurt you and make you give up on your dreams. Some not even intentionally, a few yes. 

I think inside I always like to think people are truly kind, but sometimes this isn't the case. Keep your inner heart for those who really care, SHINE to those who don't. Love them ANYWAY but you don't have to let them abuse you and make you feel small. 

Be secure that you are loved today.... and Make it a Great Day!

Since my cortisone shots (feelin puffy). And rot cuff
issues I have TOTALLY let the excuses creep in! 


I don't know what is up
with me but when I can't do everything I have a hard time doing
ANYTHING...Crazy Right??!! 


For example just legs and cardio and not upper
body will STILL make progress but it's more of a mental block. I'm too much
of a perfectionist and I like to know I'm doing everything that works.
Which is frankly STUPID! Lower fix and abs today felt amazing and I can't
wait until tomorrow to get an extra mile in my walk prep for "Spicy" (a
relay I am doing with my friend in 30 days along the Oregon coast) and heal
with Pilates.


 Do you need a wake up? ✅

Am I crazy I love frog crunches?? 




So today in my challenge group we've had a few people who have rocked their challenges going through a job loss, vacations Etc. So they maybe had an off week or two but each of them during this time has still made the effort and still done way more than they ever would have. For Our new challenge Monday a couple of them are partnering up to be held accountable now that this week or two season is over for them! Prayers have been answered and not only did our unemployed teacher get a job offer she got THREE!! God is so good! 

As they were excited to start our new challenge and saying how they've been off but all the sudden they will see themselves and realized they've still changed! This reminded me to encourage them and say yes ---regardless of setbacks , the key is you've changed your never going back to that place---and life is going to happen you're going to have a bad week or two ---but now you will get back up !! The best thing when you're feeling like you haven't given 100% is realizing how far you've come !!! I have related to that this month with my shoulder problem, it was so freeing to know what the problem was and what I could do about it! Exercise has taken on a new meaning today-- as I still am at my lowest weight and haven't gained any through this few weeks ---I truly thankful for how far I've come, Discouragement did not get the best of me !! just call me the #modqueen !!!

I absolutely love this!  
One of the greatest things I've learned with My journey with Beachbody is to continue, don't lose heart through injury disappointments or imperfections.  Move on and don't give up. Just be real and encourage others!

Good Morning!  IT's GORGEOUS out :)  OH My GOODNESS !!  I saw this yesterday and had to read it TWICE!  YES..... This is EXACTLY it, So many times I end up just doing what needs to be done and not having time for anything else... instead of focusing on what is REALLY IMPORTANT!  SO again I had to read that twice because what is urgent IS what is really important right?  Not always!  But this is SO hard for me!  I am the type of person where the SECOND i get a call, or an email or I know about something I take care of it... THAT SECOND!  I can't rest, I need it done... I find it SO hard to save a time frame for things because want to "get it done".  Yet sometimes what happens is I end up spending my day only working on present activities and not working on the future..... anyone with me here?  

Another thing that came to mind is in eating healthy, working out, time with God we always say, I got busy---- and this is EXACTLY the idea.... so is sacrificing your current health that will have a future impact on you and your family worth what you gave it up for that might be temporary and in the moment?  Is everything you have in your schedule absolutely more important than some quiet time to restore your soul, 30 minutes of exercise and making sure you feed your body proper nutrition?  Are you letting everything else pull the strings in your life and run you around like a car buzzing on low fuel?  

SO my focus this week is to yes, still be me and always respond ASAP to any and all things... but yet set aside time to not be interrupted and focus on planning and the future, it can wait 30 minutes!!
So this isn't a boast post or about pride or about looks meaning everything. As you all know if you've been paying attention in our challenge groups it's about the heart first. It's about the inside out! 
but today was a cool experience and in my little moment I had to share... Because it's too important not to. I am passionate about helping people feel just like this moment.
Those little unexpected moments of surprise that take you aback ..(Spelling?). 
You see I used to stop at this Frys after I had my surgery with my husband in my wheelchair after we dropped off the kids at school.
We would get a cup of coffee before we went home to work, was kind of a fun time with us when he had to work from home with me. #amazinghusband
of course with all the water I drink I always have to use the restroom--and as my surgery progressed and summer happened the appearance in the mirror got worse and worse and worse. Not that I was being vain but a full-length mirror on the wall you kind of can't help miss yourself even if you want to.
Today I happened to glance over---and I saw someone so different than the last time. 
I remember feeling so sad because I love to Have energy for my husband and kids, be my spunky self.
I'm not perfect I'm not the perfect size, but to feel healthy and energized and feel like myself--- regardless of what size I am or Where I am at and where I am on the scale or how far to go.... These moments are what it's about. Sharing these moments with you in order that someone else might share these moments with their family is what it's about. I don't think I'm amazing I'm just thankful.

Getting that Monday Mindset Going! So we had a fun unexpected date night Sat night and I don't know about you but that ALWAYS seems to throw me off for a day, I mean... Yesterday I wasn't horrible, but I just didn't pay as much attention as I normally do to when and what I am eating. I ate all healthy foods but more relaxed about it, probably too many healthy carbs, and I will tell you--- part of it is because when you get used to healthy home cooked foods and then you eat out, my body definitely reacts a bit differently the next day! I just didn't feel the same! Plus Sunday is just kind of a day to roll that way.....The good news is, dates are fun, life needs living and I love these times because they always remind me why I do what I do, and after a day or so I am ready to get going and feel like I love to feel! Monday is a perfect opportunity for this and it really helped that I took the time to do my menu yesterday to make sure I got focused today! It's wonderful to eat healthy and exercise and feel good so we are better for our families and the people around us and ourselves. It improves our life so much and God wants us to take care of ourselves. However don't ever let the culture make you feel like you aren't worth it. That you aren't perfect enough or good enough. Often it's a low self-worth that gets us in the circumstance of being unhealthy to begin with. I tell my kids often before school remember to whom they belong, and that's where their security lies. nothing can separate us from the love that is in Christ! Nothing!! It's been a rough week... Not because I'm worried about my problems, I always have those. The thing is, I value things that not all people do. Integrity is probably my #1. When you work in the corporate world we all know that you're going to put up with people that are not like you, but this is not an area I compromise. I get deeply affected by lies, manipulation and overall greed. If any of you know me well, I tell the truth to the point of nauseousness  
Although money is wonderful, I am motivated by other things. Things like loyalty, trust and accountability. A lot of people say this but for me it's really true. I seriously have a stubborn streak and will stick to my values over all other things. I always have, as a teenager this made me "rebelious" 
Even in my sleepless mental state, God has already began to reveal the reasons behind some of my disappointments this week, he protected me ahead of time instead of making me go through it. This is such a blessing and I completely see it. We are human so it still takes time to process. Since lately I feel like I need to go through EVERYTHING to learn, I am for sure thankful! However I am very tired!
What they say about sleep really does affect all that you do, lack of mental clarity, focused quiet time, emotions, patience, my workouts are harder, I'm eating right and not feeling that great, it really changes every area of your life. So for this Princess of the Lord Most High... today I am celebrating his loyalty. He is still there, and still protects me, even in exhaustion. This weekend I'm making sleep my daily baby step. It is hard to get back into routine when your body is out of whack!

Don't you just LOVE the weekends?! 
I know this is your time to get lots of things done around the house, places to go, people to see...but are you making sure you get those important tasks in too?
People tend to let certain things go during the weekend that they make a priority during the week. This has been a constant struggle for me. I am great during the week and in the past I would ruin my progress on the weekend!

If being in good health and shape is important to you, you cannot totally let it go on the weekends.. Although your nutrition is 80% and exercise is 20% of your results, you have to put 100% into your goals to get to your happy place!
Make it your priority to get in that workout before you get too busy that it is not important anymore. Make a plan for the things you have going on and stick to the cheat meals you have laid in place.
Make your goals and dreams a reality! It comes with dedication and hard work.. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Are you a goal person?


 I certainly am in my head, but then my stomach flutters and I get a little nervous.  I guess you would say I'm one of those people that is afraid I might fail.  I might even say I don’t believe I could succeed?  So my style is to JUMP in and go crazy, not sure what I'll hit but hope I get somewhere.  I realize this isn't the most productive way of achieving things, often it works for me because I work hard and don’t give myself time to think of failing. 
In my mortgage business I am "success by accident".  Yes I work very hard, my mom always said, if you are working hard and treat  people right the paychecks usually come.  Don't give yourself time to worry about the money.  With the ups and downs of being paid all commissions looking back I've been blessed.  I treat people how I want to be treated, truly care about the end result for my customers, see them as people, and always tell the truth and communicate with them.  That's not meant to be a brag post but it's how I've run my business.  My customers come from referrals.  However as much as I would like to say " I will do this per month etc."  That's hard for me.  I just know when I'm slow to get out and do something about it. 


One of my favorite things I have learned from my challenge groups and being a Beachbody coach is that Goals are not scary.  They are something to shoot for, but they are changeable.  I 've always thought if you made a goal and then you didn't meet it you were a failure.  You didn’t make the grade.  You weren’t good enough.  That is not true.  The goals I make for myself this year today are a plan for me, but that doesn't mean life may not change and my goals may need to be reevaluated.  However it is sure fun to see people reach their goals and even surpass them!  For the first time I feel like I can have goals, and it's exciting!  I know this is what I want to accomplish, but it takes away the fear to know it's ok if they don't occur as long as I did my best.  The important thing is I took the risk to have a goal, put myself out there.  Without something to shoot for life definitely will not change, but with it, I just might achieve my Dreams!


I am very close to meeting a goal I have made for my Beachbody business.  I initially was stressed out about this once I confidently put it out there to my coach.  Then I realized that although that is my goal, my first goal of helping people is always the main priority.  So if it doesn't happen but I did what I could to help those who needed me and provide opportunity, then I still met my goal.  It's sure fun to try though!  How about you?  Do you have any goals you want to put on your dream board this year?

GOOD MORNING!

DONE BEFORE SUN!  

When is the best time to workout?  Anytime!  However I have really found that if I do not get it done in the morning way too many things can get in my way!  With our busy schedules and demands on our time it is THE most amazing feeling to say, wow--- that's done and I don't have to worry about it!  It really helps the procrastinator in you realize the power of positive choices.  You feel empowered all Day!  

Today I was fighting the Holiday Blues.... feeling icky after letting some treats in over the past week and a half.  I woke up, determined to feel better!  However as much as I was excited to workout the voices in my head kept feeding me every excuse in the book.  Maybe I'll just go to the gym and do Cardio, maybe I'll this, maybe I"ll that, My knees hurt, blah blah blah.  Once I pushed play I was STILL saying these things during my warm up.  But Guess What?  Once 39 minutes was 36 I was like.. well hey, if you save this until later you have 3 more minutes to do again!  I continued without looking back, did my best, journaled my workouts and Checked OFF my box! Today was my first workout of Lean 2 in Chalene Extreme and it was hard!  But awesome!  The fact that it was back and shoulders makes me excited... to see those results!  Who doesn't want to  have amazing back and shoulders?  Posture?  Hold those shoulders High!


If you are not a morning person It's OK!  Try it for a few days!  Make a routine, and after 3 to 4 days it will get easier! A tip that I do each morning is drink my lemon water and green tea before my workout!  It's so good for you and you will notice a change in your body the first day!

This is my morning routine and really helps with getting me up and ready to work out -done before sun!  Sipping my green tea is also a great time for My quiet time or personal development, then I'm ready to go!  I use the stove for my water because I don't use microwaves!  Way more nutrients the same amount of time--I put my water to boil while I prepare the rest.  I stop it right before boiling point and pour into my lemon mixture. Then I go brush my teeth while the tea sits for 5 minutes.  Why?? Because lemon juice erodes the enamel on your teeth!  Brush before! Plus you have fresh breath for your workout, wakes you up!

Victory this morning!!!

Remember the scale doesn't always tell you the truth this is way more fun--my weight has been going down but muscle really burns fat! On top of it each day the last two days someone has told me wow look at those legs and yesterday what are you doing? ️ and I tried on an outfit I didn't think I could wear for my Christmas party tonight and it looks awesome and feels amazing! Yayy! I've had fun times I've not been perfect and it just shows that consistency not perfection will bring results and this is real life stuff!! No fad diets here!
 
 


The magic of pulling a jacket out that hasn't looked nice in years, Telling yourself it will probably still not look ok, and it fits! all I've wanted since My surgeries is to just throw on a jacket and feel like myself. I know I have a long ways to go but it's so fun to feel like me! The scale would tell me that this shouldn't fit ----but muscle burns fat baby!!!!
